Coyote Creek Lagoon Off-Trail

Stevens Creek Trail, CupertinoOn a blazing hot Saturday, with skies hazy from wild fires a few counties to the north, D. and I decided to walk part of the Stevens Creek Trail in Cupertino, between McClellan Ranch Preserve and Blackberry Farm Park, because it fit several criteria: 1) it was relatively close; 2) it was flat; 3) it had a paved surface ( Read more... )

Museum Of American Heritage Part Two

Here's part 2 of Saturday's visit to the Museum of American Heritage in Palo Alto.

After looking at the exhibits in the main house, we step outside to the garages to look at a 1915 Ford Model T Touring Car on display and a vintage print shop exhibit featuring a complicated linotype machine.
